Last Week at our school (Bay Of Islands College) we held a Matariki Gala containing performances, food stores and activities as well this was a fun kaupapa

This paragraph discusses the connection between DNA, chromosome, and gene, I believe that these three things make who you are.

 

For Instance Gene is passed through Whakapapa, your Genes also give you characteristics that your parents may have or your grandparents may have. Genes also contain protein which make functional molecules.

 

DNA is the hereditary material that all organisms have, 

 

Chromosomes are structures found in the nucleus cell that contains genetic information, Chromosomes are also an important part of your genes which is an important part of your body.

 

We can therefore see that Gene, Dna, and Chromosome are connected within us.

If you don’t know what a static image is a static image is an image that doesn’t move

My static image includes

• an animated person eating a burger
• an animated person sleeping
• 2 dogs that look like my pets
• The word pepeha
• Book that has the title “Friends and Family”

You don’t really have to look for anything in a static image besides the part where it can’t move

This term we have been learning about rounding,Multiplying decimals and dividing decimals.For rounding we have learnt the rounding rhyme and it goes like this 5 or more raise the score 4 or lest let it rest so belowI have done a little example of my work

For multiplying decimals we have learnt how to multiply decimals by the power of 10,100,and 1000 and there is this little method we know is called MR DL . M stands for Multiplying and R stands for Right so if its multiplying than you would move the decimal point to the right and D stands for Divide and L stands for Left and if it was divide than you would move the decimal point to the left

See Ya, Simon is a fictional novel of a boy suffering from muscular dystrophy. It is very pronounced throughout the story that Simon will not live for another year. Simon is a very righteous and humorous character who is never afraid to share his various opinions and does not seem to care that much despite him knowing he is going to die. If I have to describe a setting then it would be his school because it is one of the main setting Simon goes to.Simon is Funny Cool and Humorous and he had his best friend who would always help Simon his name is Nathan he is very cheerful awesome kind and funny my thought about this story are Happy at the start but then when it got closer to the end I was a bit sad because Simon was about to die.And I have learnt that you have to appreciate life  because other kids don’t get to live a normal life.

This post is going to be about my work that I have been doing in English which is novel study the novel that we have been studying is SEE YA SIMON . I have written a little paragraph of every chapter we have done

Chapter 1

Simons playing soccer when his battery runs out so then his mate has to roll him everywhere and then Simons talking in class about how he’s not gonna grow old he’s just gonna die after school

Chapter 2 

Simon talks to everyone about his diagnosis 

Chapter 3 

They play board games which is called dungeon and dragons

Chapter 4 

This chapter they talk about babysitting and Simon.Mrs Mason also watches the series News Digest every Thursday she used to watch it every Tuesday but then they changed the dates and the Shaws take lots of photos which Simon loves and Nathan hates but Simon does not like looking back on his baby photos.

Kia Ora my name is Carmen and I am from Waikare and Invercargill. I was raised in Invercargill until I turned 5 years old and then I moved to Waikare where I have lived ever since.  On my mums side my grandparents are Moana Pori and John Gillet on my dad’s side my grandparents are Dean Reti and Phillipa Rodgers I am 12 years old I was born on the 3rd of October. I have four siblings two sisters and one brother I am also the oldest my sisters name and age are 1.Alana 11 her birthday is on the 28th of December and 2.Lilly 8 her birthday is on 12th of October.My little brother’s name is George he is 6 his birthday is on 14 of August.My mums name is Tuakana Apekore Gillet she is 32 years old and she was born on the 18 of October 1990 and she was brought up in invercargill and my dads name is Allen John Reti  some people call him AJ he is 33 years old and he was born on February the 12th 1990 and he was brought up in Waikare.
